Creamy Blooms and Beige Sighs

I’ve been in a creamy, beige, tan, loose hair in the wind, cozied-into-a-nook mood for a while. I always gravitate toward dark colors like black, burgundy wine and more black but recently light is returning to my wardrobe. This shift has been making me see the beauty of darkness and light working together to make something beautiful, but more on that later.

For now, take a deep sigh and enjoy the soft light and beige walls of my color landscape.

Ceci n’est pas un parking garage.

Pretty pink wall in pretty San Francisco.

 Plants in my backyard.

Antique medical jars at the Wellcome Collection in London.

A paper installation at the Queensland GOMA in Brisbane, Australia.

 By the Seine, Paris.

Monet’s Waterlillies at Museé de l’Orangerie, Paris.

While whale watching on a boat in Australia.

 Sacramento sky.

A good friend’s wedding in Brisbane.

Have any color stories you would like me to explore? Let me know in the comments.
